Bring traditional Palestinian embroidery into the digital age with the Tatreez Substance Graph Generator—a powerful Substance-based tool designed to help Palestine focused professional artists, game developers, and fashion designers convert traditional cross-stitch motifs into modern, high-quality texture maps. Whether you’re designing 3D garments, digital fashion assets, or game environments, this generator allows you to integrate culturally significant embroidery patterns with ease and precision.
The tool supports custom mask input, provides a collection of historical Tatreez demo sample masks, and allows seamless export or live painting of texture maps in popular software. Whether you’re preserving culture or innovating with heritage design, this generator bridges tradition and technology.
The Tatreez Graph Generator is built to convert traditional Palestinian Tatreez and other cross-stitch designs into texture maps suitable for:
The sample patterns are adapted from visual references of early 20th-century Palestinian garments preserved in the Museum of Britain. However, the developers of this tool are not certified Tatreez historians or designers. We cannot verify the exact historical accuracy, names, or regional origins of these motifs. They are included strictly for testing and demonstration purposes.
This tool is intended for professionals in digital arts and design and Tatreez makers using original motifs. If you are unfamiliar with Tatreez traditions, please collaborate with or consult a professional Tatreez artist before producing or distributing design work.
Tatreez is a sacred cultural practice, deeply tied to the identity and voice of Palestinian women. We strongly urge all users to approach this tool with cultural sensitivity and integrity. Do not appropriate or misuse these traditions. Instead, ensure fair compensation or clear credit to Tatreez designers.
